Of course there are a number of amazing film locations all across London, but none of them offer quite the inspired backdrop that the East does.
There’s a place for everyone
East London is home to a wide mix of cultures and the shops, restaurants and surroundings reflect that. You can discover brand new cultures, and see first hand how they weave together to create the absolute unique feel of East London. Brick Lane deserves a mention here, because as well as being known for its Banksy pieces, it is famous for its diverse food options, and is unofficially the curry capital of England.
It it constantly evolving
This area has seen a lot of change over the last few decades, and is constantly evolving to welcome new businesses and buildings. The 2012 Olympics was a time of big change, with the Olympic Park and East Village still exceptionally popular today. Right now the Royal Docks is going through an exciting change, with an £8bn transformation going on, which will see 30,000 new homes and 41,500 new jobs over the next 20 years. With it being London’s only Enterprise Zone, the whole area is ready for rapid growth.
